It also cleans the bottom of the box well if you use it at the right angle. The shovel is made of aluminum and is therefore light. The molded handle really offers a firmer and more comfortable grip. It's a lot bigger and longer than your regular shovel, so a good grip and light material is important so your forearms don't hurt when you're sifting through all those big shovels. Basically, the design seems to make sense, and the proof is that it works. The included hanger is a thoughtful bonus. I am happy with my purchase. If that sounds like something that could make the tray easier for you, I'd have no hesitation in recommending it - unless you're left-handed. Yes, the ergonomic handle is specially designed for the right hand. An option for left-handers would also be nice. PS I had no incentive to leave a review.
