Review on Top-Performing Mizuno Inspire Running Quarry Stormy Weather Men's Athletic Shoes by Joshua Douglas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The wide version is smaller and narrower than the previous model

I bought the Wave Inspire 14 (size 10 2E/Wide) last year and it's the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. So my expectations for this new version were about the same - just in a different color and different aesthetic details than the newer model. In any case, I'll be using the Mizuno Wave Inspire 14 size 10 2E Silver/Directoire Blue as a baseline for comparison when testing this new model. To make a long story short, I ordered the Wave Inspire 15 in size 10 2E (Wide) Black/Dark Shadow. I hope that the size will be the same as the predecessor. I was disappointed that they appear to be about 1 centimeter smaller and don't feel wide at all. Don't get me wrong, if you get the right size, this is one of the best shoes of its kind. Price (and even versus models twice the price). The support this shoe offers, especially when you need more heel support, is amazing. I also love the sound of heels hitting the floor as I walk. Now I'm debating whether to trade in a size (up to 10.5, maybe 11 2E), buy the previous model again, or just ask for a refund. I've loved the Mizuno since I first tried the Wave Inspire 14, but the size difference was a bittersweet experience. At the moment I have just purchased another brand of running shoes while waiting to see what customer service can do to help me with this matter and will edit this review if I manage to try a different size of Wave Inspire 15.
