You will see more Aurifil yarns in my reviews. I can not get enough of this. Low lint, no breakage, fantastic color choices. I love buying these collections so I have many colors to choose from. I use Aurifil for sewing and quilting and am very happy with the product. Can't recommend enough. This special set contains colorful threads. Colored tone-on-tone threads are my favorite, but there are also more contrasting colored threads, such as the black and white colored spool. I would only use these threads for quilting, not sewing. I know you may be indignant at the price but there is SO MUCH RUBBER in these collections! Let's compare Aurifil to Coats & Clark, which I used exclusively until finally trying Aurifil. C&C is 250 meters away. coils and it's cheap. You must purchase 6 spools of thread to match any of these spools. Let's say C&C costs about $2.50 per roll. You spend $15 to get as many threads as one spool of this Aurifil thread. If you do the math, one of these reels costs about $7.75. Which yarn is really cheaper? This is not the thread I would advise a beginner to invest in if budget is an issue. However, when you are advanced in your craft, it is time to use quality products. Appreciate your talent and effort. Use quality products to ensure your work lasts. You won't regret investing in this thread from Aurifil.
