I recently used these candles in place of the wax candles we used in my restaurant. They change the rules of the game. Less clutter, less hassle, great lighting and the ability to forget to turn it on because of the timer. This is especially useful as we have some candles high up on the walls that are difficult to reach without help (ladder). I'm not sure about battery recycling yet and it really worries me from an environmental point of view. We store all used batteries for disposal at approved disposal sites. (Note: we didn't have a remote, which is fine because I didn't want one. I bought it for the timer). provide such a warm light in my home. Good product!
