I have several hand mixers. Two of these are made of cheap plastic, are short-lived and can only be used in cold liquids. The nest park is very well designed, made of steel and built to last. Its low torque limits its use for low viscosity liquids, but its metal construction allows it to be used for hot brews, coffee and tea without dangerous splashing. In short, I will be using this metal blender a lot more than any of my other blenders. It's great to see such high quality workmanship at a modest retail price that makes plastic models so overpriced.
