Beautifully designed, well made and exactly as described. They use a blue clip instead of an internal spring, which can make them more useful. The connection is secure enough, but breaks with a sharp jerk, which of course protects the user from injury if the hose gets caught. I commissioned them with oxygen tubing connected to both a stationary O2 concentrator and a portable Inogen G4. These connectors allow lengths of extension tubing to be easily connected or removed as needed to allow movement through the connection while controlling excess during stationary periods. As a backup in case the cannula becomes damaged while using the portable generator, I carry an extra cannula with this fitting. pre-installed, as well as a plug-in section of an extension tube of similar devices. (Theoretically that's overkill, but if something goes wrong and I lose the clips, for example, I want to have several full spares on hand.)
