We did not receive the remote control hence only one star in this category. So a "cheap" light set. I bought them to see if the solar strings could withstand squirrels and mice. The answer is no. However, I'm glad I didn't buy expensive headlights. We took them off, soldered them and sealed the places of the gnawed wires with tape and glued not on a tree, but on the balcony railing. They are fine there. Working with them is crazy; get tangled even when you look past them. The bulbs are tiny (1 inch diameter) but this is a nice little set of lights. They burn all night. It's July in Southern California. The solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight from 09:00 to 18:00.
