Review on 📷 Sigma 1.4x EX DG Teleconverter for Nikon Mount Lenses - APO by Seth Hogate

I bought this teleconverter to use with my Canon 7D and Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 OS lens to film high school football nights. The optics are very clear and work great with both the camera and lens. This reduces the lens's maximum aperture from f/2.8 to f/4, but I can live with that to get a little more focal length. At 1.4x zoom with my Canon 7D 1.6 crop sensor, this teleconverter gives an equivalent focal length of up to around 448mm at f/4.0, giving nice, sharp close-up shots with shutter speeds up to 1/500s enabled at night and above. depending on the lighting conditions of the respective field. This is a great lens, teleconverter and camera combo for football matches. I bought the lens and teleconverter separately, both new for about $1300 and both work very well. Excellent value for money for fast focusing and optical stabilization with an equivalent focal length of 448mm and an aperture of f/4.
