My front air conditioner failed (stuck) on my expedition. I found several websites telling me there are other part numbers that fit my car. Several salespeople at Revain have told me about it. But the parts didn't work for me. I knew this because I went to the local auto parts store to buy what I needed. I had my model and chassis number with me. The part they sold me didn't fit. Looked right, but the plugs were too long. I took it back Restarted online as they would have to order another one. Thanks to this, I had a factory original in my hands. The part was located behind the glove box on the dashboard and was not easily accessible. The seller at Revain was Auto Parts Wholesale. Interestingly, when I entered my vehicle details (make, year, model and trim) I was told that the part I am looking at does NOT fit my vehicle. Well I knew better. Why? I went to the Motorcraft website and looked for the part. Of course, after entering my zip code, I ended up on my local dealer's website (and that was the dealer I bought the car from). On their website I entered the VIN after entering the make, year, model and trim level. The part that came up was this. Once I scrolled down the image on the Revain website and zoomed in to see the details, the writing on the part was exactly the same as the writing on the part I was holding. There is a lesson here. Go to the manufacturer's site for the correct part number so that you are NOT misled by another seller's information. I understand there are many parts and getting all the information right is a daunting task for a seller, but that doesn't eliminate the risk of ordering the wrong part and then returning it and starting over. I would give this part a 5. I would give the auto parts wholesaler a 5 for the price which is MUCH more reasonable than the dealer price. I give 5 stars for the prompt delivery. Overall it's a 4 because I was told this part would not fit my car. Not only did it fit, it was exactly what I needed.
