Who would have thought that the microfiber cloth my husband uses to clean our cars would be a great potholder style 6x6 makeup remover. Genius! ♥ I don't have to worry about using greasy creams or harsh chemicals to remove eye makeup, warm water and a microfiber cloth are enough. The small size is perfect for keeping your clothes dry as most of us women remove our makeup before bed. As you can see from the instruction image, you can use your favorite cleansing water to remove waterproof makeup, but I don't think it's necessary. I simply use hotter water instead of the warm one they offer and then leave the hot wet cloth closed over my eyes for about a minute and it comes off instantly with a few swipes. ♥ Great fabric for people with skin conditions. As I said, before using them for the first time, I washed these 12 microfiber cloths in the washing machine bag that came with them. After that, I use Dawn dishwashing liquid (removes grease, leaves no residue and is safe for outdoor use) to wash the towels after each use: rinse, of course. In fact I've only used one so far because they dry really quickly between washes. If stains are difficult to remove, I can throw them away and move on to the next fabric. My husband hand washes his microfiber clothes with Dawn dish soap and also "residue-free". He hasn't thrown away any of his spot towels and I know he's had them for over 18 years. My skin actually "creaks" because it's so clear and it's just water. ♥ ♥ Now if only they had released a fabric of this size with fibers impregnated with silver to protect against bacteria. ♥Great idea! ♥♥
