It worked and brought my 1996 Chevrolet Silverado back from the grave. If you're unlucky like me and your pump burned out AFTER you've filled the tank, I highly recommend removing the bed (2 people minimum) and (4 people minimum) lifting it back up. There were 8 screws. The top of the tank should also be rinsed and allowed to dry to minimize dirt entering the tank. Just remember to be careful with the transmitter as it is the most fragile part of the entire device. And for fun, compare prices at your local auto parts store to this one. I figured I'd have to settle for the crash-prone Airtex, but Amazon saved the day. Also replace the filter and then every year.
