This is the same thing I remember from wiping the pollen off my 70 440 Challenger.
This is exactly what I was looking for my cars. They are both under a metal canopy with car covers. This is an outdoor shed. Unfortunately pollen will cover your car at this time of year as soon as the cover is removed. Instead of washing them every day I just give the machine a light wipe with a rag and it looks great. The plastic handle is a bit odd. Next time I will order a version with a wooden handle. In any case, the unspoken rule applies: if your Corvette is dirty, clean it before you drive. Wondering when was the last time you saw a Dirty Corvette driving down the street.
