The fit was perfect. It locks and unlocks easily. However, a thief with a matching Torx screwdriver can easily remove the cover by prying the console's simple button lock. The advantage, of course, is to slow down the possible release of the lock. The disadvantage of the installation kit is that the Phillips screws are no longer than the standard screws, which are easy to remove. The screw thread engagement is barely adequate with the added thickness of the mounting tabs. In order to deliver a quality kit, the seller had to include Torx screws that were at least 5mm longer than the stock screws to properly engage the existing plastic threads.
