I had a SunBeam heated mattress pad that I loved and used for many years. When he died I bought this to replace him. I bought it in October 2018. Now, early March 2019, I have a second spare for spare. The first mattress pad had a control problem. The low setting was about four on my first heated mattress topper, unbearably hot for a low setting. Then, for the first three weeks of owning it, it stopped heating the side I was sleeping on. I was able to easily exchange it through Revain. The second mattress topper worked great at first. After about a month I noticed that the side I slept on wasn't getting quite warm. There were spots that didn't get warm. Gradually, the entire side I slept on stopped heating up. Then the heat began to dissipate through the bed and slowly made its way to the other side. Just about four inches of strip on the other side of the bed could keep warm even when the mattress topper was at its highest. I've done everything I can to fix this. Both have only been used normally. I put them on my mattress and kept them in a decent position and both failed within a few weeks. I called Sunbeam customer service, grateful I bought the warranty, and hung up twice. I finally got in touch with a lady (after waiting for half an hour) who was very nice and very helpful. They sent me a replacement mattress cover free of charge. I was happy until I used it. He's been in my bed for two nights and is already warming up unevenly. I've tried everything to understand what the problem is. I have everything correct and I checked with the manual - nothing. I called their system to troubleshoot and used everything correctly so that isn't the case either. I'm fed up and will never buy from this company again. Save yourself headaches and cold nights. Just do without this product. I called today to send a replacement and see if I get my money back. I was on hold for almost an hour. Don't order from Sunbeam if you don't like terrible products and are wasting your time.
