I recently packed *most* of my stuff into a minivan and drove it from California to my new home in Pennsylvania. I thought vacuum bags would be a great way to free up as much space as possible in a minivan. It probably would have been fine if the bags had stayed sealed or hadn't had huge holes in them from being air evacuated and placed in a larger soft cloth bag. The contents of almost every bag we packed ended up on the floor of the van and on my poor dog, who handled it like a champ. Of course, all the underwear I own got locked in a mess of what was once well wrapped and sealed, so it was embarrassing for me and my boyfriend and future roommate to deal with. ? Once sealed, the pouches served no purpose (unless you intended to reuse the pouches), but when the pouches were packed, every second or third pouch was missing a slide piece, so you had to search and search until you found it. one so you can lock the bag. Conclusion: a colossal waste of time and money and a huge pain in the neck**.
