What makes this backpack different from others? If you just load it up and walk on level ground it's fine, but really not that much better than any other good quality backpack. If you really notice the difference: 1. On steep climbs and slopes - the balance is much better than traditional backpacks. 2. You will noticeably less fatigue over long distances because the weight distribution between shoulders and hips is more on the hips than on the shoulders. Note that the bean shape makes packing and organizing more difficult than traditional backpacks.
