My car has very light beige (almost white) leather seats. After transferring the color from the sweaty Texas Summer denim, I decided to clean it and apply a hydrophobic coating. This product is very easy to apply by simply spraying and rubbing on a microfiber cloth. It is a clear liquid with no discoloration or darkening of the skin and no discernible odor. It applies evenly and easily - I used about 1/2 bottle on my vehicle (mid-size SUV, front and rear seats, and console and door leathers). Before applying I left the car overnight and allowed the product to dry completely. No peeling or odd coating or residue. So far this is working well, although I'm hoping it will reduce dye carryover.
