Review on 🐠 Automatic Aquarium Fish Feeder with Timed Fish Food Dispenser for Fish Tanks by Sally Bienz

It works, somehow. on Fish & Aquatic Pets

If you're like me, I've tossed between this Londafish and Eheim (which I used to have). I bought Londafish on 8/2018 and as of this writing I have replaced it with Eheim on 9/2018. For me, the €5 savings weren't worth it. Why did I replace it? Let's start with a few differences between Eheim and LONDAFISH. Although both units "look" the same, they do NOT. Eheim has a small fan to dry the fish food. Why do I point this out, in my case in one of my tanks there is only one spot to place an inlet, unfortunately just above the water inlet (think of the bubbles). I've had Eheim there for over a year with no problems (until my daughter "helped" me and accidentally dumped into the tank). However, Londafish turned into chowder and when I noticed it was growing it was less than 2 weeks later. The second difference is durability. If you read the instructions and reviews here, you'll see that there are repeated warnings about flipping the feeder. Reading these notifications/posts I figured why would anyone do this because it would break. So, fast forward to mid-September 2018 and I took the Londafish to another tank (where it wasn't even close to the effect of the water bubbles). To make sure I didn't end up with another big mess in the soup, I just put some food in it as a test (note there were no signs of a moisture problem in this area). Food ran out quickly so I removed the basket to refill and obviously put it back in, I pinched it and it stopped working. I didn't twist it, I just adjusted it. I have filled my home many, many times and not once has it broken. Saving a little isn't worth it to me. I will say it works, you just have to be careful where you place it and treat it with extra care. (That's why I gave 2 stars). I didn't call the seller to ask for a replacement, I know I broke it (which is sad how easy it was).
