Bought this bed for my 35lb dalmatian puppy. This is a good size for her, see photo. It fits perfectly in the Best Wood and Wire Dog Cage Online and measures approximately 29.5"L x 21"W x 3.5"D. The dual layer foam is strong yet strong comfortable if you stick your hand in for about 30 seconds, he makes this memory foam "thing" in seconds but I wouldn't say this is quite the quality of a well known brand man bed.My dog has but no complaints. It does not show a very strong contraction after two months of sleeping at night. Use, just a little in the corners of the drawer. The outer cover is not waterproof, but it is easy to remove and wash. Pay attention close it before washing and tumble dry on low or air dry so it lasts longer.It's moderately stain resistant but needs regular washing.It's quite soft to the touch and doesn't cling very firmly to the foam.If your If the dog likes to chew on something, this may make it easier for him to eat eat but I had no problems chewing after a few months of use, it also has a small zipper along the two parts of the bot. Edges of volume where dogs want to chew. Keeping it in a drawer will keep it out of the reach of stray teeth. The bottom of the liner has a non-slip, grippy texture that holds it up pretty well. It has a waterproof lining that is very effective at keeping liquids out of the foam. I tested its water resistance by placing a puppy pad under the pad, pouring a cup of water on the pad and letting it sit for 20 minutes. The lining repels water, forms pearls and during this time the water has not reached the puppy mat. A few puppy accidents didn't break it even after a few hours. The zip on the inner liner is not the best quality, there are protruding threads in the inner liner that can get it caught, but I don't plan on taking it off that often. You can cut off loose threads yourself so that the zipper does not jam. Overall this bed is perfect for cage use and meets my pups needs. This is excellent value for money. I can't seem to buy additional outer sleeves anywhere but I hope they offer them as I expect the foam to outlast the sleeve.
