I've used this projector for both my baby's night light and fake disco light. For the price this isn't a bad projector, the value is there. The colors reproduced are pleasant and bright, creating a pleasant atmosphere in the room in which they are placed. only these three positions. The buttons are touch sensitive, which makes working with them easier. However, this may cause the projector to turn on automatically if you pick it up and touch the power button while picking it up. This can be a problem if your eye is in front of the laser opening - you'll get a laser shot in your eye with little or no warning. It works well as a night light, but if you're using it on a toddler, remember that the stars are diffracted lasers. So if your child looks inside - and they do so because they're interested in shiny things - they could get caught in the laser. Your eyes. The only other problem with babies is that they love the light so much that they get too excited to go to sleep. I want the "stars" to actually be projected stars, like the moon, with constellations. All in all a good basic no frills projector for the money.
