I use the whole piece to get the maximum height and the bars seem nice and strong.

. I use the whole piece to get the maximum height and the bars seem nice and strong. I've had a couple of low speed crashes straight onto the bars and so far the bars haven't moved at all. A tip for installation is to wrap them in tape to hold all the pieces together during installation. Nothing more to say, they just work.
