Review on ⚡️ ROOTOMA Mountable Power Strip Surge Protector with Individual Switches and 6ft Extension Cord, ETL Certified for Aquarium, Home Office, Garage - 125V/15A with Switch On/Off by Becky Maldonado

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent build quality.

The cable is thick and its weight makes it premium. The switches are illuminated when switched on. In most cases there is enough space between the individual forks. The cable is very long. The price is expensive for what it is. I use 3 outlets at the dollar store for $1 each and they are awesome but they don't have switches and all of the new single outlet switches at Revain are fire hazard unlike my old ones so I went with them. It's a shame they left room to put the name/tag or change the shape as it looks like a lot of wasted space. I wish they had different suspension angles. I'd also like to see either rotating plugs given the price, or a way to disassemble the part for rotation - it doesn't matter. It seems a bit thicker than it should be. It has a shutdown circuit which I don't care about and just adds unnecessary expense if surge protectors don't work - the biggest problem when electronics get damaged during a thunderstorm is caused by blackouts or under voltage. Overvoltage is in most cases much easier to handle than undervoltage by most modern electricians. It loses 2 stars - due to the high price, inability to hang the direction I need without changing it, wasted space/dimensions etc. gets 3 stars - due to the decent spacing between each plug the light shines when the circuit is on and not off so you can easily see which one is on looks like good build quality - need to open it up 100% confident thick cable.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
