I had a problem with the remote control and my mechanic said it was probably the battery. They said open it, put a new one in and you'll be fine. I forgot to mention that the keys just lay there and were not attached to the suitcase. So when you opened them you had to push the button down to keep them from flying around. Mine broke and I couldn't find one of the knobs so I ordered this replacement. It's not that close to the original, it's just like the original. So much so that the new button for the new shell would fit in the old shell, eliminating the need to ground the key. Needless to say I am a very, very satisfied customer.
