First of all I am very pleasantly surprised with this product. I'm usually suspicious of such "combination" products that perform multiple functions, as in my experience they usually don't work particularly well for a specific application. Usually things like this break much faster than simpler devices, but so far this product shows no sign of it. seems to be working fine. The cables are quite thick/durable (as much as you'd expect for the price) and the auto-retract mechanism actually feels solid and responsive. I have used it as a car charger and I find it perfect. It's great for being able to easily tuck away when the charger isn't in use, reducing that awful tangle of cords. My biggest issue is that I think the stretched cord is a very awkward length. A 6ft would be much better in my opinion, especially as it feels shortened by the heavy retractor. Overall I'm happy with the product, but I feel like the potential has been wasted because the cable isn't longer with longer options. If they were, it would just be the perfect review.
