**Another update on 6/21/2021** Over the last 6 weeks I have noticed that CloudApp is having trouble accessing one or more of its 4 cameras. It seems I need to close the app and it may be accessing the camera which it didn't have before. I also think it may be my WiFi, I'm not ruling it out, but the WiFi performance of all the cameras is between 85% and 90% or higher. About a month ago I emailed people at CloudApp about this issue but haven't gotten a response from them yet. I still think they're good cameras, but the long-term reliability of the app can be an issue! The cameras work fine. They don't seem to use a lot of charge overnight and charge easily. My camera on the side of my house is not connected to the solar panel and is still fully charged after all these months (but that side of my house only gets active when I'm around). At this point I need to set up a camera to monitor my house and driveway so I don't notice cars and sometimes people in the middle of the street. I live on a big cul-de-sac, so the kids use it for skateboarding, biking, playing soccer, and cars are always spinning around. I've found that the higher (feet off the ground) you mount the camera, the steeper the camera angle should be, unless you want to capture areas 40, 50 feet or more from the camera. So far, so good. I recommend. *Update* I installed the cameras. Important information, especially for people like me who have no idea about electronics. During the installation process, the CloudEdge app (I have the app on my iPhone) gives you the option to choose the photos (on your phone or other device) that the app will have access to. Do not select this option. Give the app full access otherwise the app will not be able to take screenshots or videos. It took me over a month to email CloudEdge staff before I found the root cause of the problem. I find the app and camera a good choice for people like me who want to keep an eye on their property as much as possible. The camera shows a fairly wide angle, much more than I expected. *First review*. . I have four of these security cameras in the front, back and sides of my house. They are all set up and checked for their final location, but not yet installed. So far this camera has met my expectations for ease of setup and use, video/image clarity, and battery life. The instructions are very simple! The range/distance for this camera suits me. About 10 feet to see my face clearly, but much more (probably over 100 feet) to see a person on your property. After installation, I plan to add photos to this review.
