Sorry I bought this. An elastic pen sleeve is glued and sewn to the center edge of the front cover, which looks like bandage material - looks very cheap. The magnet on the front cover does not close tightly to protect the screen. The front cover differs from Apple's Smart Cover, which snaps into place, attaches to the side of the iPad with a magnet, and can be easily removed and replaced. Instead, it attaches with a plastic rod that runs through a channel in the back cover. When I pulled it out to remove the front cover, it was impossible to screw it back on. Exactly the same because I hate how it looks and doesn't work. The only good thing I can say is that the clear plastic back fits the iPad well, the cutouts are accurate, and the raised bumper protects.
