It is not plug and play as the description says. I have an older MacBook Pro (Late 2013, 15" Retina) and it took me 45 minutes to an hour to get it working as part of my setup. The Display Link software wasn't working and the AOC website didn't have a Mac Drivers so I had to hunt for drivers to install them but once I did it worked it's not a super bright display but for less than $100 I'm impressed Basically I use this to run Slack /open my email client/PDF while I'm working on my main composition. It's great for that. There's very little latency and I've even used it as a monitor on Zoom calls. If you have a Windows PC, This is truly plug and play and can be up and running in minutes If you're looking for an affordable, compact, portable display, this is basically it.
