Review on 3dBi LoRa Gateway Antenna & Extension Cable Set for RAK HNT Bobcat Helium Hotspot Miner by Sean Sitton

Hello, I always leave honest feedback so please let me know if my review was helpful to you. So, like I said, I have this antenna for my Bobcat 300 helium miner. I live in an apartment complex with a lot of tall buildings and trees around me and I live in a ground floor apartment. Firstly, this is an outdoor antenna, but I used it indoors and installed it at a height of only 2 meters. I also have the original antenna that comes with the Bobcat Miner which is 4dBi and I also have a 3dBi antenna. I got my miner about 3 months ago so I wanted to try a different antenna to see which one is better. For me this 8dbi antenna was the worst and maybe it's because where I live and my best antenna was 3dbi. In comparison, I was earning about 0.5 HNT in 24 hours with a 3dbi antenna, but when I used this 8dbi antenna, my income dropped to 0.2 HNT in 24 hours, and sometimes less than 0, 2. So this antenna is not for you if you live somewhere with a lot of buildings around you. I think this is a very good antenna if you live on a farm or in the country.
