I have an old toilet and the ball part of the fill valve broke one day. I ordered this unit on a whim, hoping I wouldn't have to call the home warranty provider. This repair kit and a few YouTube videos enabled me to replace the inflation valve myself. Just make sure you have a wrench big enough to fit the base of the hose in the kit so you can get the tight seal you need (I learned this the hard way). Otherwise it worked great and was fairly easy to install. Miss Fix-It for the first time.
