I first saw these shoes at Kohls but they are not my size to try on. I liked the color scheme/look so much that I looked them up at Revain (and found them cheaper). After reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant to buy or if they would fit and be how I wanted them or if they would be comfortable. There are mixed reviews from people saying "The new Balance isn't what it used to be, rock hard, uncomfortable etc." But I took the risk and so glad I did! I really love these shoes. They feel better than my current Nikes and old New Balances. They fit great, look exactly as expected, nice colors (I chose purple/black) and are very comfortable, feel light. They feel like tennis shoes, but for me they are better. I find them light and comfortable, and the fresh foam refers to the material of the shoe itself, not the insole. Judging by the reviews, some people expect to run on super soft, plush soles, and not only do they not advertise anything like that, I've rarely found tennis that feels like this without buying insoles. If you are looking for great tennis shoes that are lightweight and comfortable then I recommend. I don't stand on my feet all day but wear them on hikes and walks and love them. I usually wear regular Nike women's shoes in size 9.5 but New Balance always have to order 10 so I ordered 10 and it's perfect. Don't pinch your toes. For Nike/Adidas, I recommend half a size larger than what you're wearing. By the way, I rarely write reviews on Revain, but I feel like I have to because I love these shoes so much!
