They are perfect for me, I am disabled and I sit in bed most of the time, so sometimes it is difficult for me to work with my hands. If my husband brings me a snack or something you usually eat with your hands, I prefer to use chopsticks because they're easier to clean than my hands when I'm lying in bed. I have wooden chopsticks that looked a little torn and I wanted to replace them. So I found these. They are fairly heavy and square which makes them easy for me to use with or without my arthritis tool. I also like that they are beautiful. And they have a little texture on the tips to keep food from slipping. My husband hand washes them, but they can only be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher. All in all really good chopsticks, they are a cross between Japanese and Korean chopsticks (yes there is a big difference between all Asian chopsticks), almost like the best of both worlds as far as I understand it.
