Review on πŸ•―οΈ High-Quality Natural Soy 125 (415) Wax (5 lb): Eco-Friendly and Long-Lasting Option by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good base soy blend. Low melting point: recommended

This is a good soy wax. As a professional candle maker, I'm pretty picky. It has a low melting point and releases easily from molds without using silicone spray. It flows best from PVC molds but can work with aluminum as well. Has a soft touch (pleasant but not too strong internal attraction). It has a light soy scent that overpowers subtle flavors but pairs well with natural and artificial flavors. Makes an off-white candle so best for medium to deep shades. Goes well with herbs when making herbal candles. A medium flat braided wick will do for poles under 1.5 inches, otherwise you will need a square braided or paper core wick. Mixes VERY WELL with beeswax and holds a good range. Not the best option for containers due to the separation of glass, but can be used as a last resort.
