I've tried several different gauges like this in the past and build quality and consistency has often been an issue This gauge works well and its features really shine and make it an essential tool for those who want to get psi readings quickly, accurately and conveniently when combined with a tire inflator.The features that make this unit stand out are the locking clip that connects to the tire valve.It's a button that stays locked and airtight once applied - It's easy to use and works 9/10 times without a second try e.g is required for proper installation. - Once attached, the connection is strong, leaving your hands free to use the rest of the device without worrying about seal failure and air leakage. - There is a swivel in the hose that allows you to rotate the rest of the device so you can easily see the reading without twisting the hose or damaging the seal on the valve - It automatically turns on when pressure is applied, it senses the Pressure from the connected tire, no need to press the power button - Display with backlight is clear and easy to read day or night. - The device will turn itself off automatically if it doesn't detect any pressure changes for a short period of time, maybe 30 seconds or so. The device has a built-in brass pressure relief valve to deflate a controlled amount of air from the tire. This is useful for reducing the tire pressure to the desired value after some pumping. It has a nice flexible and braided hose that feels well constructed. The overall construction is really good considering the price this device is sold for. I've been using it for 4 months now with no problems and every time I use it it works flawlessly and makes me happy. I have this wonderful tool that I can rely on without having to worry about it.
