The product works well and does what it promises. Splits 1 HDMI signal into 8 identical outputs. It crashes from time to time when sending the wrong resolution to the slave monitor. In my case, it spoils the placement of various objects on the computer screen. All objects must be reset manually to the desired position. Luckily, glitches don't happen too often. They mostly seem to happen when one of the slave monitors is turned off and then on again. The only thing that is really disappointing is the durability of the device. The first one I bought lasted 3 years, after which it stopped working properly. The replacement I bought stopped working properly after 2 years. I think that's not bad for an electronic device, but I have computers that work great even after 8 years. Anyone planning to purchase such a device should plan to replace it every 2 to 3 years.
