It works as advertised.

What could be more fun than having all the TVs in the house showing the same thing at the same time (no 900 cable boxes)? Give up? It's installation work! I'm glad I got this little baby, sound quality and picture quality are where they should be, every TV plays "in the sink" together. I was a little concerned that the farther away TVs (50ft) would lag a bit, but no, all TVs work great, the audio matches the video. Everyone. It was a home game!

  • Electronics

Great sauce! good for splinters

This thing is amazing! I can't comment on the lifespan since I just received it, but I did get an extended warranty. This device is currently connected to my Lorex camera system, allowing me to broadcast live video to multiple rooms. Newer Lorex DVR systems only have 1 HDMI output and 1 VGA output, without which I would get sick with dual monitors. I'm thinking of getting another one in the future so I can send an HD picture to all my TVs from a cable box installed in the basement.

Save on cable box fees - run HMDI cables and get a BIG OREI splitter

I ran HMDI cables through the walls into the basement where my DISHTV DVR/receiver sits. I use this splitter to send signals to my 3 TVs. Since I'm not married, it's normal to have the same program all over the house. Note: My DISH remote works in RF, not IR, so it works around the house too, BONUS. Anyway, instead of paying a monthly fee for JOEY devices, I ended up running cables at home, which cost me about $120 (this time not including trips to the ER), which is a lot less than the…

There were no problems with this. I .

3.5 months there were no problems with it. I also have a 1x4 HDMI splitter in another room where I can easily connect 3 TVs to one HD cable box. All TVs are 1080 as some reviews said that if you have 720 and 1080 on the splitter it will run at 720. I currently use 5 HDMI splitters in my entertainment center connected to my single HD cable and everything works. flawlessly with no loss of sound between TVs. I also grabbed a cable splitter so each TV could turn on a separate game or screen and…

Pros
  • High-quality assembly
Cons
  • I don't remember

The product works well and does what it promises. Splits 1 HDMI signal into 8 identical outputs. It crashes from time to time when sending the wrong resolution to the slave monitor. In my case, it spoils the placement of various objects on the computer screen. All objects must be reset manually to the desired position. Luckily, glitches don't happen too often. They mostly seem to happen when one of the slave monitors is turned off and then on again. The only thing that is really disappointing…
