I got it as a gift. However, when it arrived and I looked at it, I almost thought it would be too good to be a joke gift, if that makes any sense at all. Firstly the price is a bit high for a gag gift in my opinion. However, once you see the box and brush, you'll understand why. The box is really pretty. This is a wooden box with good hinge and construction. The finish is also very nice. Also, the brush that comes with it is good. It's nice that I could see my wife or daughter using it for makeup or something like crafts. This is a legal brush. I would have thought that for a gag gift they could use a box and a cheaper brush and cut the cost a lot. This is a very rare case where the quality of a product is almost too good for what it is. I'm not complaining, just pointing this out. I just have to decide who to give this to - there are so many options.
