I really like this laser. I have replaced an old red laser that I have been using for 15 years and the switch to a green laser and most importantly the brightness of this laser is really impressive. The only hit I have is that the top of the laser's plastic body goes out and then the front of the laser goes down over the window where the laser light is projected, preventing the laser light from going up as high as possible. This means you can't put the laser cramped on the floor like I used to do with my old laser. You will need to use a laser pole or tripod, or find something to mount it to, to elevate the laser about 3 feet so the laser light creates a full line from floor to ceiling. It's not a deal breaker - it just means it takes a bit longer to set up, which is a bit inconvenient when you need a quick line on a wall or just need an alignment check on a layout. BUT for the money it's great!
