Instructions here. - my new review

So there are no instructions So I can see why people broke the plastic. You have to squeeze the sides of the plastic and lift. Opens easily.So far I am blown away by the price. My last set was 35$ and these are so much better quality too. Super super satisfied.

Pros

Surprised to see it works fine. Replace the stocknine and this pair do its thing. Hood deal.

Cons

The blades may become clogged with debris, reducing their effectiveness
