Quiet and fast enough for me
An asshole at a famous electronics store tried to convince me that I wouldn't be happy with a mechanical drive and insisted that I need a solid state drive. I'm not sure why a mechanical drive is considered too slow. If you're not solving problems with extensive computational fluid dynamics calculations, this drive is fast enough.
