The perfect replacement.

This solved the problem as my previous CD/DVD hard drive was not working. Coincidentally, this is the exact model I had. The other one was used a lot and was the perfect solution.

Easy to use and store

Perfect fit for my HP Envy 360 laptop No installation or usage problems, I wish it was a little cheaper but if you want to buy genuine parts/software you have to pay that price.

Works well and is HP

Works as it should, there are 2 listed with the same model number but different! One of them is faster and cheaper (this one) and not very fast when typing either, but good for the money. There are other options but if you need HP then this is what you need.

The perfect CD/DVD player!

This is a 5 star product for those looking for a USB CD/DVD player. I've watched 2 movies and played 10-12 music CDs and this little player did the job. It is very thin and slightly larger than a CD. It's also very light, which I like. Definitely worth your money!

Quiet and fast enough for me

An asshole at a famous electronics store tried to convince me that I wouldn't be happy with a mechanical drive and insisted that I need a solid state drive. I'm not sure why a mechanical drive is considered too slow. If you're not solving problems with extensive computational fluid dynamics calculations, this drive is fast enough.
