I first ordered a couple of similar dresses (including this one) for a beach cape, thinking if they were horrible I could use them for pajamas, but I was pleasantly surprised . The material is thin but you can't see through it. I can see what my bra looks like, but it only looks like it's not showing through. It's also very soft and smooth. The colors are very bright. I was afraid they would look blurry, but they aren't. The length is just right too. It's a few inches above the knee but long enough to be worn modestly as a dress. I'm 42 and didn't want to look like a little girl in a doll dress. You don't look like it. Although they are long enough, they are still short enough to wear with leggings in the summer without being too long. Sizing seems a little right for a "loose" or "swingy" shirt. So if you like it loose, I would definitely recommend getting a size up from your usual size. In general, these are not designer dresses, but I wasn't expecting that. I think these dresses will come in handy for me and I might even buy some more for my pajamas. The fabric is soft and perfect for it. I was only going to give 3 stars because they aren't super pretty or anything, but I decided that was unfair because I wasn't expecting to create a $100 look for only $15. They are pretty much what I expected and hoped for. They're good for around the house, at the beach, in pajamas, and if you're wearing a jacket, boots, and jewelry, maybe leggings. you could probably wear it enough for a casual date. I would NOT expect to wear this as a bridesmaid dress (as I've seen in some customer photos) or for anything more casual. So for the price and my expectations it deserves 4 stars.
