Review on Dell E-Port Plus Advanced Port Replicator with USB 3.0 for E Series Latitudes: Enhanced Connectivity and Powerful Performance with 130W AC by Davey Kamau

Dell E-port docking stations are mainly designed for dinosaur computers. I ordered this item and have been using it for almost 6 months with sufficient reliability. A day after I plugged in my laptop, the screen replicators stopped working. I've tried restarting the device, swapping cables to make sure there are no faulty cables, installing new cables, etc. to no avail. I ended up buying a second port replicator and it worked fine when plugged in. If you have the opportunity, instead of buying new, save some money and buy a refurbished unit if it won't be reliable in the long run.
