Appearance and size perfect. The ability to charge your device is a bonus. I like that this is a touch lamp. I didn't read it in the description so I was looking for a way to turn it on until I got it. For me this is a lot easier than looking for a small pin to turn under a lampshade. You really have to assemble the lampshade, I thought it was weird. The velcro is very strong and difficult to change once it's in place, but luckily I was only a hair's breadth wrong. When I tried peeling the Velcro off to better even out the overlap, I noticed I was crumpling the shade, so I left it alone. As soon as I notice it, I'm sure.
