I ordered 3 5ft, I placed one behind the TV and one under the dresser and the third did it They didn't fit, they worked great with easy install and app control, although I wish the 5ft came with a remote control. My room has a black and white theme so the idea would be to have the light mostly on a white background but upon switching over I noticed that there is a purple LED on the strip I used for the TV backlight , which is very annoying and noticeable. Also, the LED closest to the connector has a strange bluish tint. I'm not sure if that's a defect or if I'm just unlucky with the three pairs I have, but be careful if it matters to you - and if you're looking at the lights close enough against the white background , you'll see everyone else looks like a different shade of white. LED lights are much farther away than your regular LED lights, so be aware that they appear much dimmer. Another thing is that the app is a bit confusing, it should be the main source of control. It's similar to the app you find on your old 2006 iPod. The point is, you get what you pay for. Got a 5ft RGBIC for $5 which seems like a lot and is hard to find. I thought it would be a miracle but unfortunately you get what you pay for. They're still great with lots of colors and patterns, but from what I've noticed they don't last as long as I was hoping. I contacted the seller because one of the lights is purple. I will update my rating if anything changes EDIT: I contacted the seller about the defect and they sent a replacement very quickly. They may not be of the best quality, but if you find a mistake, you can always try again.
