These headlights are amazing. I was very pleased that the cables were long so I didn't have to use female to male cable extenders. Double sided tape is fine...for my application, although I had to use painter's tape (which does NOT reduce the light from the LEDs at all...shocked me.) Every set worked (4 total), so the quality seems to be consistent. I warn you though... if you are at all sensitive to glue, you will be overwhelmed by the smell of the tape. It's so powerful. I ordered 3 5ft, I placed one behind the TV and one under the dresser and the third did it They didn't fit, they worked great with easy install and app control, although I wish the 5ft came with a remote control.
