So my 128GB drive on my MacBook Air was almost full (remember that?), I tried to install the new beta and got the error message "Not enough places". . So I did what anyone would do, I uninstalled everything knowing I could reinstall it later. Still not enough space. I tried moving the setup file to an external drive. No, it still wouldn't be enough space. So I contacted Revain and found this SSD, now for those of you looking for an upgrade, it's not a Macbook plug and play device. You need an adapter for the installation. With the adapter and SSD installed, there is a slight difference in height, but this is not a problem when installing the cover. SSD performance is great. It appears to be just as fast if not faster than the original SSD. Plus the benefit of doubling the size. So far the only downside is hibernation, after being closed for a while it now restarts. But that's a problem with adapters, not with SSD. I tried the repair guide that came with the adapter, but that didn't help. All in all, this SSD is perfect for you if you need more internal storage.
