Ready to use - would/could not calibrate

This PH meter was broken right out of the box. I immediately followed the instructions to rinse and dry the sensor head and calibrate the meter using the supplied calibration powders/solutions. The calibration package labeled "6.5" didn't bump the counter to 6.5 - it's calibrated to 4.1. The calibration package marked "4.1" simply made the counter blink continuously even after tens of minutes of waiting. I immediately rinsed everything and repackaged it for return. This product wasted my time. I hate this kind of low quality junk - I'm sure some buyers should have gotten a working meter but obviously with junk this cheap there is no quality control.

Pros

AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION (ATC). You can get an accurate water pH test result without worrying about the effects of water temperature.
