I have been using a similar product for many years but this one has burned my gums! I put small dabs of this product in my whitening trays, being careful not to use too much as I know these products can irritate gums. Maybe 15 minutes after putting the mouthguard on, I had a sharp, stabbing pain in a tooth. I ran to the bathroom to take them off and after taking them out and cleaning them, I saw that the gum behind one tooth was completely white, the next day it turned black, then red and sore. It's been 5 days now and I'm still in too much pain to bite anything, anything that stings like juice, tomato products, sodas etc. Now I have a dentist appointment tomorrow that will cost a fortune. .
