So this is the third shower filter I've ordered from Amazon. This time I think I missed too much time to replace it with the newest one, but I didn't realize it until I got this new one. My skin was dry and flaky for weeks and I couldn't figure out why. When I received this order my skin was soft and smooth the next day. It does a really good job of filtering out chlorine and other nasty things in the water. I know you don't usually drink water in the shower, but sometimes I gargle with warm water to rinse my mouth out in the morning. You can still taste tap water with normal shower filters, but not with this one. Propur has proven time and time again that they can extract chlorine and other particles from water and turn it into high quality drinking water. It even filters out fluoride which I particularly need as I have thyroid issues. Fluoride makes my Hashimoto's worse, so I avoid it. It is important to have a filter that can filter out fluoride. I am very happy with this filter. My hair loves it too. I even have a kitchen sink filter. It makes good drinking water.
