I really like this product. It works great and I can only recommend it. I find it leaves my hair cleaner than other co-wash products and leaves my thick hair soft and manageable. - It lost a star because the bottle I received did NOT have a pump, making it a real disappointment to use. The product is quite viscous, making it difficult to remove from the bottle without a pump. They compounded the problem by only having a narrow flip-top cap, making it dangerous to turn the bottle upside down to allow product to drain to the "working" end. - Washing isn't for all hair types, but if your hair is thick, voluminous and doesn't look greasy after 2 days without washing, then I'd say it's worth a try. Thoroughly damp hair. Use lots of common washing. Rub your scalp with your fingertips (not your nails). Then wet your hair and run through your hair. Rinse hair thoroughly. I wash my hair three times a week; twice with co-wash and once with regular shampoo and conditioner. My hair gets too frizzy on shampoo day, but this schedule ensures my hair and scalp stay healthy.
